onscripter software package provides Visual novel games engine compatible to NScripter, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install onscripter
onscripter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the onscripter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep onscripter *
You will get with onscripter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
